Gextech founder joins NetSurf with plans to provide and operate its own online casinos
The founder and former chairman of the Gextech software development group, Mark Campbell has been appointed CEO of the UK and Costa Rica based online gambling turnkey provider NetSurf Media.
Campbell, who has an impressive track record in launching and building successful commercial enterprises in both the telecommunications and gaming sectors, will be responsible for implementing an ambitious expansion program which will see NetSurf license its own online casinos in Europe.
The company's Internet casino, bingo and poker products include VIP Lounge Casino.com.
“NetSurf, which employs 150 people globally, has assembled a huge amount of expertise building operating software for in excess of 10 online casinos,” explained Campbell. “The decision to build the business and operate in our own right represented a fantastic adventure and an opportunity that I could not resist. I believe that there is huge scope to bring some tangible points of difference to the sector and rest assured we will be delivering some great ideas, bundles of energy and creativity generated by the best brains in the business to the online casino table."
Netsurf plans to showcase its capabilities at the upcoming International Casino Exhibition in London next week (January 22 - 24) where Campbell will also be looking for suitable people to fill 70 staff vacancies he says currently exist in the company.
NetSurf Media directors include the former Conservative Party chairman Sir Edward du Cann, founder shareholder in Boss Media, Marcus Isaksson and Internet gambling exec and COO Amit Jain. Campbell promises more high profile leaders will be joining the company soon. |
