eGaming Review reports that while the Irish bookmaker Boylesports remains the favourite, Gibraltar-based Stan James and Betdaq sister operation Chronicle Bookmakers are rumoured to be interested in the acquisition of BetDirect from 32Red Plc.
In other news, Chronicle Bookmakers signed a one-year deal (with an option for another two) to sponsor the racing coverage on Ireland's national broadcaster RTE Television. Chronicle Bookmakers will take over from Paddy Power.
