The increasingly popular digital technology of podcasting is to be deployed by online poker room PKR.com in an in-house development branded PKRcast.
The broadcasts will feature news, expert strategy tips and interviews with poker insiders, building on the site's flourishing online community.
PKR fans interested in the new facility can go online and download it around the clock from the PKR site, or log on to the popular iTunes site where the podcast has been listed. Listeners can also subscribe through an RSS feed.
The first episode features interviews with PKR team members preparing for the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. The program will include hints every player needs to achieve his game goals.
"We're looking forward to extending the conversation with our players even further with the introduction of a podcast," PKR marketing director Simon Prodger said in a press release.
