Online poker pro: 'A hard way to make an easy living'
By Eric Dexheimer
Last year, Jon Van Fleet netted about $500,000 playing online poker.
He's barely 27 years old and has a supportive Brazilian girlfriend. He travels the world.
He goes to expensive restaurants with his friends, who pool their credit cards and draw one to see who gets stuck with the tab. He's watched a buddy on a losing streak bet $25,000 on a coin flip. (He lost.) Once, someone bet him $2,000 that he wouldn't eat an entire ball of wasabi without throwing up. (He won, though it was painful.)
