Ex-Talarius exec recruited to handle investment firm's adult gaming division
Nick Harding, the newly appointed CEO at gaming investment company Aldgate Capital plc has not wasted any time in bringing on board a trusted executive from his former company, Talarius. This week Jonathon Hughes was appointed as managing director of the adult gaming division.
Harding, who himself joined recently described Hughes as a key appointment and an executive who knows the specialised AG field well. Referring to Hughes, Harding said: "He was born into the business and began working with his father at Royals, based in the north of England and Scotland, after graduating from university.
"Jonathon’s blend of hands-on experience in terms of running, growing and integrating businesses is central to our strategy and I am delighted that he has joined the Aldgate team," he concluded.
Hughes said that the appointment with Aldgate represented a compelling proposition.
"I believe that I can make a substantial contribution to the overall business," he added, "and in particular the development of opportunities within the AGC sector."
Hughes has 20 years’ hands-on experience in the business with Royals, Talarius and most recently with London AGC operator Game World.
The London-listed Aldgate’s stated business strategy is to pursue acquisition and consolidation opportunities in the low-stake, high-volume gaming sector in the UK and Europe. |
