Playtech and MySpace icon in Barcelona
MySpace, and now MTV, star Tila Tequila arrives in Barcelona this week to meet with top online poker and casino affiliates attending the CAP Euro conference.
The youth star's reality TV show premiers October 9 on MTV in America, and she will be on hand at her Tila Casino.com booth during the event to further promote the site to industry affiliates and insiders.
Tequila and her marketing team hope to use what can only be described as the MTV Promotional Steam Train, currently in motion for her new reality show, to gain more visibility for the already successful casino/poker site. She will be available to discuss her love of poker, why the site is an important part of her growing empire and her future plans to grow her gaming business.
A lot has happened since the last time the woman Time Magazine dubbed ‘The Madonna of MySpace’ appeared at an industry event in London with her affiliate partners at the launch of the Playtech-powered online casino and poker room, Tila Casino.com.
Tila Tequila has since launched her single, “I Love U”, on iTunes and has been on the covers of Penthouse, Maxim and Black Men magazines. And her new MTV show, A Shot at Love With Tila Tequila, is eagerly anticipated. She hopes to further expand the Tila Tequila brand with this clever venture.
The LA Times states: “MTV may once have been about songs, but it has always been about spectacle, whether of the political, socially conscious, crassly consumerist or just plain sleazy variety. A Shot at Love may manage all of the above”.
