Gaming software developer's latest features tournament capability and diverse games
The latest backgammon product to emerge from the Cyberarts studios was unveiled at GIGSE in Montreal this week, attracting keen interest among operators with its cash play and free-play availability.
The versatile package includes the ability to run scheduled and sit-and-go tournaments, and a variety of backgammon games that includes nackgammon, hypergammon and chouette play, where multiple players can participate on a single board.
Cyberarts chairman Ken Arnold explained: “Chouette is the most popular and social form of backgammon in real life, and avid players have been asking for an online chouette for years."
CyberArts was established in 1995 to provide high quality games of skill over the Internet and has become famous for its poker software. Its first product, GamesGrid Backgammon, quickly became the online club of choice for champion-level players and remains so to this day.
The company boasts a unique licensing model that requires licensees to pay a one-time licensing fee with no royalties. |
