Popular poker magazine currently features the ongoing World Series of Poker
Since June 1st, the new UK edition of popular US poker magazine Bluff has been selling like hotcakes from UK newsstands, pushing circulation beyond 34 000 throughout Europe. In July, that number will increase by a further 15 000 as a German language version of the magazine launches.
With the World Series of Poker now in full swing, the June issue provides a useful focus on the best players in the UK who have headed off to Vegas to battle for gold bracelets and riches at the 55 event spectacular. Additionally, the magazine carries reports from the Scandinavian Poker Championships, the Grosvenor Poker Tour Manchester and a special feature from Hollywood star Jennifer Tilly at the Irish Open, together with all the news, views, gossip and strategy tips from some of the best poker players in the world.
The issue also carries the bonus of a DVD ‘Learn from the Pros’, courtesy of Full Tilt Poker.com.
“Previously, we were content to distribute in the UK through casinos, cardrooms and via subscriptions, thus directly reaching our target consumer – the poker enthusiast,” said Philip Conneller, Editor of Bluff Europe. “However, with the continued growth of the game in the UK, we now feel that the climate is right to seek out a wider, more mainstream readership.” |
