Insider reports are hardly positive
In a week where NETeller has had to freeze debit card transactions following an unspecified problem with the Cirrus Maestro global processing network, the last thing the management at the Isle of Man based e-wallet probably wanted was insiders leaking negative stories to the media. But apparently that is what is happening, according to a report in Gambling911.
The online gambling information portal claims that it has inside information that NETeller continues to downsize, and cites the recent retrenchments of company managers from the Payroll, Call Centre and DABI departments in Calgary as proof.
Information reaching 911 from insiders also indicates that 6 US Department of Justice lawyers are still combing through records at the NETeller Building, and that several parts of that building are being rented out to other firms. The report includes an oblique reference to what seems to have been an $800 000 bonus cheque allegedly received by president Ron Martin "when [NETeller] times were tough."
Regrettably the NETeller news that online players really want to hear - when their funds currently frozen by the embattled e-wallet are to be released - was not available. |
